About 10 km from Hoogstraten lies Loenhout a very small village but with a great flower parade.
Every second Sunday in September the flower parade take place.
This year the theme of the parade was movies.

Stylish intimate restaurant in the centre of the village, opposite the church.
Very friendly service, lovely decoration, nice tables with luxury tableware.
Favorite Dish: We had their monthly menu which was:
-aperitif (Crémant de Bourgogne) with amuses
-scampi with pasta, tomatoes and fresh herbs in an aromatic olive oil
-cream of cauliflower
-steamed halibut in chives sauce with mashed potatoes with spinach
-variety of berries with blackberry sorbet
-tea/coffee with cholocate and a glass of Amaretto

Favorite thing: The cathedral of the Holy Blood is a meeting place for pilgrims. The precious relic is stored in a golden shrine and paraded every year in the famous procession of the Holy Blood
The church is open every day from April to the en of September.
Admission is free.
