Hasselt Flights

Travelling around Hasselt with the city bus is free of charge. All buses lead to the Stationsplein. And you won't have to wait any longer than half an hour. Just get on, no need to pay. These are lines H1 to H9, shuttle bus BP and CP, H11, H12.

Hasselt is an IC station. This means that whether you travel from Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Gent, Liege for instance, there is a direct train on the hour, seven days a week.

By car:
From east to west : the E 314 (Köln, Aachen, Heerlen, Hasselt, Brussels, Oostende), exit 29, 10 km north of Hasselt.
From north to south : the E 313 (Antwerp, Hasselt, Liège), exits 27BIS, 28 or 29.

By train:
Hasselt is also within easy reach from all railway stations in Belgium.
There are IC-connections (every hour, 7 days a week) to Hasselt from Oostende, Brugge, Gent, Brussels, Antwerpen and Liège.

It reached every national and international newspaper cover.
Since 1 July 1997, travelling by bus in Hasselt has been free of charge. Buses operate very frequently. They take you to the town centre in no more than 10 minutes. This means that tourists can reach all our sights easily.

We love our mayor here in Hasselt . And the reason for that is that he made all the busses in and around the city free. No pay. Free ride for everyone. You can get a brochure for all the timetables and routes off the busses at the busstation.
