    The Palace of Justice was built in the mid 19th century designed by architect Lodewijk Roelandt. Having served its time, a new Court of Justice is nearing completion.

    Little Ghent

    Merelbeke - so called little Gent - only a few Km from the Capital of EF - but so nice to stroll around by cycling !
    Merlbeke - Baasrode - Schelderode - juwels one by one to visit whenever in Ghent.

    This is yet another interesting reminder of the city's tumultous history. The iron cannon was made between 1430 and 1481. It's 5m long and 16t heavy!

    pretty canal

    Though Brugge is much more touristy and crowded than Ghent, it is still definately worth a visit. Great beauty and loads of charm are still part of the Brugge experience.

    Villa Bergmann you will find on the"Vlaamse Kaai" - The buildings in this area are worth to be visit - but not easy because they are located next to heavy trafic road ! The ring around Gent.
