Ninove Travel Guide

The church of Our Lady's, which was formerly the abbey church, is one of the most beautiful Baroque Churches in Flanders.
It was part of the former Abbey of St. Cornelius and St.Cyprian
The baroque church, built in 1635, has a very rich interior.
You find here one of the largest baroque-organs in Belgium, and made by J. B. de Forceville in 1728.
At the back of the church one can visit the excavations of the former abbey

Favorite thing: Ninove is a small province town in Belgium, situated on the Dender.
It is situated in the south-eastern point of the province 'Oost-Vlaanderen' at 25 km from Brussels, between Aalst and Geraardsbergen and this little town is absolutely worth to visit
The town centre is the shopping-quarter of the neighbourhood. There is also always much doing round Ninove : try the Carnival, Maundy Thursday and the Annual Fair.
In Octobre 2002 Ninove has his own shopping centre namely : Ninia Shopping Centre.
