The road from Ronse to Kortrijk. After 6 kilometres you take the road to Kwaremont. When you have reached Kwaremont square (in the middle of the slope of the Old Kwaremont), you go straight, and after 2 km you take the Middelloopstraat on the right, about 250 m further you find the beginning of the Paterberg.

Rosten, luister es hier. Als ge wilt vliegen . . .
de Paterberg is de schoonste.
Ge hebt de Muur, een monumentale berg kasseien, veel volk. Ge hebt de Berendries, veel volk. Maar de Paterberg is de schoonste.
Weet ge wat Rosten, probeer het nog een keer . . .
op ne stille, zachte weekdag, te voet eerst, en dan met uwe fiets, de Paterberg op. Ge voelt de kasseien, ge proeft de helling, ge snuift de graskant. De wind uit het westen streelt u. Ge wordt er stil van.
En als ge boven zijt, keert u om, ge gaat de hemel voelen. De lucht is zacht, trilt. Hij is ijler dan beneden.
Als ge wilt vliegen, Rosten, ga naar daar.
Naar de Paterberg. 't Is de schoonste.
