JosM Says: Very good restaurant, with the posibility of eating a snack (e.g. pancakes) in the afternoon. Belgian (white) asparagus with baked potatoes and roasted pork.

steventilly Says: We didn't eat here but it looks a nice place. It's worth mentioning, just so visitors will know that there is somewhere they can get a meal if they want. No idea about the menu either, because I didn't take a look.

steventilly Says: The Castle Of Horst is famous from the Belgian comic book of "The Red Knight".In addition, each year there is a sort of medieval re-enactment festival. It was held 15th to 18th August in 2002, so we missed it by a week or so.

steventilly Says: The damp weather did not deter these keen fishermen around the lake. I don't know aboyt the access to this fishing, maybe it's private, so don't just come here expecting to be able to fish! Fishing rod, keep net, waterproofs.
