Mr_Furious Says: There are frequent buses to and from hofstade to Mechelen. There is only one hourly bus to Vilvoorde, but it doesn't run on holidays. Always ask for info on departures first at the bus info desk at Mechelen train station.
Mr_Furious Says: During weekdays there is one hourly train to Mechelen and 1 to Brussels. The train to Brussels leaves at 16 past the hour and the one to Mechelen at 44 past the hour. Cost to Brussel is 3.2€ single ride and to Mechelen it's 1.5€. There are no trains during the weekends and...
