There is something for the locals and tourists alike at this large concert hall - the 2013 programme has artistes from Flemish to international such as Sinead O'Connor and the London Symphony Orchestra.
There is also a café here and tours of the theatre.
Dress Code: Not sure but I guess smart casual.
Cause nightlife in Brugge is not so alive, you can watch a great movie at 20hrs or 22hrs in the new complex, with 8 movierooms, newest movies, best sound quality.
Big complex with bookstore about movies, you can buy a bucket of popcorn, lots of snacks and drinks. Enjoy!
This isn't exactly a nightclub-type tip, but it does take place at night...
I'd like to encourage English speakers to go to a cinema while in Bruges -- it's a trip and a half! We saw the Anthony Hopkins/Chris Rock spy movie, "Bad Company," in English with French and Flemish subtitles. I had to force myself to focus on the dialogue; I was so curious to see how the words translated into the other languages that I often missed whole patches of conversation.
Audiences in Belgium are allowed to bring in bottles of beer, and throughout the movie, someone's bottle was always being kicked over and rolling under the chairs.
Walking the streets of Brugge you see the modern and old combined. In fact, you see the modern adapts to the old, like this cinema.
I really enjoyed my boat trip, as my feet were asking for a rest! But I am afradid i could not join the nightlife there we left early LOL
