Umbrella & Raincoat, Brugge
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you go in May, make sure you bring an umbrella and a raincoat, as well as a sweater or two. The weather was very unpredictable. One minute it was warm and sunny and I had to take off my jackets, and five minutes later it would be windy and raining. Bring comfortable shoes (sommething that won't soak through). While we were in Brugge, it rained every day.
Keep in mind that Brugge is a Belgian city.

Loads of pictures and the weather forecast.
Think about it , march can be terrible and
april has it's rain...even summer doesn't feels
like summer sometimes. From september on ,
it cools down very fast when the sun is gone.
During the summer months it can get extremely hot during the day but very cold at night so some warm clothing for the evenings is recommended as most of the resturants and cafes you tend to sit outside. You will need comfortable walking shoes as most of the streets are cobbled and you will find you will do a lot of walking as there is so much to see. An umbrella is needed as I found out to my cost as the weather is very changable and the downpours are sudden and will leave you drenched in minutes.
Photo Equipment: It is easy to find photographic shops in Brugge and the assistants will usually be extremely au fait with cameras etc and what equipment is needed and may even give you tips.
Miscellaneous: Mosquito spray may be needed during the summer months as mosquitos can breed in the canel and you may get bitten.
Luggage and bags:
Anything that you can carry
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: General clothing for the time of year but an Umbella even in Summer, while we were here the heavens opened and it is just as if we had got out of a bath LOL
