You have all kinds of restaurants in Brugge. For all tastes. (But I read somewhere that the infamous "Golden Arches" chain closed down in this town due to lack of interest of the population! SAY WHAT?!! SHOCKING!) ;-)
We were, by no means, in the mood for chicken mcnuggets while we strolled through the cobblestone streets. You should never need to worry about the food in Brugge. You can simply walk around, have a fair view of what's cooking, and make your selection.
We selected the restaurant during our last night in Brugge based on the menu and cozy atmosphere we saw inside.
Cafe Des Artistes served fresh local style cuisine........with a flamboyant twist!
Our waiter was refreshingly animated and oh so flamboyant! Just wish he could have known the difference between chicken and fish ! ;-))
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at this place. For dessert? LEFFE BLOND of course!
Favorite Dish:
Their local chicken with vegetable stew was the perfect dish to warm you up from the cold temperatures outside.
