Nice little shops mainly located in the "Kerkstraat" - the mainstreet in this little village
What to buy: A souvenir for my beloved daughter. And second hand books, about the history of West-Flanders, books about the second world war, and strips - my favourite item.
Don't forget to buy local products like :
Damse kaas : cheese called Mokke
Local beer : Uylenspieghel
What to pay: Cash or CC

There are very few shops in Damme. I saw some libraries, a pharmacy, a butcher's and a hairdresser, a drinkmarket... and then this shop.
I think it's the only interesting shop for tourists.
Besides typical souvenirs, gifts, local specialities and beers, they also sell sandwishes.
What to buy: Closed on Friday

Damme lies a little lost between Bruges and Knokke, and it's a shame. Such a charming medieval town and since 1997 Flanders Bookvillage.
