Despite their stereotype to the contrary I find Belgians to have a very subtle sense of humour. Examples include the canalside bar in Gent, "Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant" - "The Waterhouse on the Beerfront" or the wonderful shop in Antwerp, "Swiet & Seksie" which specialises in edibles and who's motto is "All You Eat Is Love".
Here in De Panne I noticed this butcher's shop on the main drag. Unfortunately the shop was shut at the time (Monday morning) but glancing up I noticed the signage.
Speaks for itself...
It is important to look around first, as there are different prices and different formulas.
It can be handy to ask a tip in the hotel where you stay, maybe they know someone who rents these cabins, and like this you can get a kind of discount.
You'll never know, if you do not ask for it, you will never know.
You find these beach cabins, along the entire length of the Belgium coast.
Mostly these cabins are rented by tourists who stay a certain period at the Flemish Coast.
It can be handy for couples with children, like that they can store the children’s toys in the cabin, or maybe the rubber boat, or the beach seats.
Like this you must not carry all that stuff from your apartment to the beach every day.
It can also be handy if you want to change your clothes.
These cabins can be rented for different periods, from half a day till one month (or more).
As you can see, you can also rent seats with or without a sunshades.
Depending what the time is (am or pm) and how long you want to rent, will actually determine the price you will have to pay.
