Well this isn't really a nightlife tip. But is kind of a going out tip.

What can be more joyful then sit and relax in one of the cosy chairs along beach road. Like this you can taste one (ore more) of the delicious Belgian local beers. Meanwhile you can watch other tourist walk by, and you can let your kids ride one of those go-carts.

The Carymar is a local pub that offers ice cold Jupiler beer on tap at the best prices. Other Belgian beer are also available. You can have a quiet conversation while enjoying a beer or other beverage Smoking is allowed inside. The owner speaks English and will try to answer any questions that you may have about De Panne tourism. While no food is served in the pub, the owner can recommend nearby restaruants that offer superior food at reasonable prices. The Carymar also has a meeting room for hire if you have a group event. Call Carine at 058 41 15 61 for rates and reservations. For a truly local experience, visit the Carymar. Night at La Panne

A lot of restaurants are situated next to the sea. The typical meal is the mussels with French fries or fish. But there are also Italian food and other cooking. After a great dinner you can go and drink a Trappist beer or an Irish coffee on a pavement area of one of the numerous bars along the beach. I have to note that there is one of the best cocktails bars : the "Blue Island". If you aren't too tired, you just have either to visit the "Night Market" or to go out in a dance-hall.
