Favorite thing: When in West Flanders visit some of the smaller villages. Ofcourse Bruges is a must, but there are some lovely villages close to it. Worth a trip from the touristpath.
Damme is an example. Cityhall is worth seeing and then there is the church. The church is partly just walls standing.....
