De Leet....: Easy Take Away.....
I stumbled across this little hide out while walking about town.....I walked into the restaurant and discovered the display as soon as I entered ....The items from the display could be cooked up in a few minutes behind the counter...I looked and decided to try something that looked kind of good...I wasn't sure what most of it in fact was..some things certainly I could recognize but not others.....the little signs were in Flemish I guess...
The owners or people that were working there were quite friendly and when I asked in French if they could speak "Canadian English" or Francais they certainly chuckled and answered in English...
It was a small store front and had though plenty of seating in an adjoining area to the back of the building up a short flight of stairs...
It was clean and as it turned out had fast a friendly service...I was only looking for something light and I didn't really want to sit and eat a whole meal...
Favorite Dish: I looked and decided to try something that looked kind of good...I wasn't sure what it was though but is was on a skewer and was kind of breaded...It was called Ziguenerstick...and was quite tasty in fact...just a tad of hot spice in it....I'm not sure what the meat was...I dont think I want to know...anyhow it was tasty enough that I went back fifteen minutes later and had another...
