Caffe Latte: Some tea and sympathy
steedappeal profile photo
steedappeal 254 reviews

An appealing place near all the shops. Recently taken over by a sympathetic young lady who does a good job with teas and light lunch items.

Favorite Dish: Sandwiches and exotic teas.

*WARNING: the unusual, orange substance to the right of my tea looked like sorbet but was a spicy shock to my mild system!

We decided to stop and have a coffee and watch the world go by for a while on the friday afternoon. I chose Cesar's because it was quiet and there was no-one smoking on gthe terrace.

Favorite Dish: We had coffee and it was served with a little biscuit, a soft fruity sweet. The coffee was good and strong. We did have a look at the menu and it looked good but we went to the Italian that evening. The price I give is for our coffees

Same Same But different: Delicious eclectic food

This restaurant offers a mix of Asian and European food. On the menu you'll find meat, fish and chicken dishes, and if I'm not mistaken they also offer vegetarian dishes. I've been there several times and was never disappointed. The interior isn't so cozy, but they do have a large terrace out back, it's so much nicer out there! So if the weather is good, definitely ask to eat outside!

't Mouterijtje Restaurant

This was the restaurant chosen by the organizers of the VT meeting. Excellent choice.
Typical exterior and interior décor. It was a malt factory for the local breweries.
Good food (French cuisine) and a fantastic choice of Belgian beers, more than 50.
Attentive service. Trilingual.
