It is not warm enough for sunbathing, is only 18 C and the water is still very cold. But in summer season here's full with visitors from all over Belgium. This place can very crowded, everyone wants to lying down for the sun

A sunbath or a walk along the beach, playing fun or water sports the well maintained, white beaches of Middelkerke have a lot to offer

The big advantage of this north sea beach, the sea is gradually deepens, this is in contrast to many positions on the Mediterranean Sea, where one sometimes feels no bottom after a few meters. This makes it safer for holiday maker and especially for children

During high season the municipal sports department organizes daily activities mostly free for various ages
