In August 1894 Adolphe De Brabandere asked the township of Bavikhove, a small village in the south of Western Flanders, the authorization to build a brewery.
Four generations later, the Brewery Bavik is still a family company. Some of their beers are “Petrus” and “Wittekerke”.
We didn't visit the brewery but admired this brewkettle along the highway near Bavik.
