Favorite thing: ride the KUSTTRAM all along the coast.......a joy to do, time and again......

The person that sells the tickets can tell you everything about the many possibilities and there are many!!

This is a hop on - hop off experience not to be missed.

The lengths is 100 km.......and there is a stop at every seaside resort....

So start hopping...............it is GREAT!

Favorite thing: Get on a tram along the coast to De Panne, you will see the beach and the dunes all the way down, it really is pleasant. Pleasant as a pheasant in a peasant, Dave Beasant. In De Panne, sit by the same beach that saw the Allies do the Great Escape in 1940, one of the proudest days in British history, and also see the statue that commemorates the first king of Belgium's landing in his new domain, Leopold I. Nearby is a big bearded statue of a sailor, looking away from him. Just goes to show.

Fondest memory: Sitting by the front at sunset on a warm evening at the end of April and watching the sun settle into a silver sea. In the distance you could see the lights of England. I sat with a tear in my eye and then got up and shouted, YOU LOT ARE GONNA LOSE IN EURO 2000!!!!! They never heard me in Dover.
