Actually this place is a bar, but they serve food also. You can only choose from about 5 dishes, but every month or so they change the menu. I have never been disappointed here. And since this is a bar, you can spend a whole evening (and night) here.
Like almost any Flemish bar they have a wide selection of Belgian beers.
Prices are low.
Since a couple of weeks (March 2007), there are new owners here. I went there once since then, and they kept it the same. So let's see how it evolves.
Favorite Dish: Something with goat cheese, but I forgot the exact name.

Het Roodhuis is dating back to 1700. It used to be a bakery, cooper and inn. Today it is a bar, where you can have some good meals too.
The atmosphere here is good. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy a drink while resting from your walk or bicycle ride. In winter the stove is burning and you have got to be inside.....

Convieniently located just when you leave the Sterrebos. After a walk in the cold weather it is great to relax here and have a drink, or a bite to eat. As we were there in the morning we only had a drink.........

Roeselare is getting some nice restaurants the last couple of years. For my 31st birthday we went to 'Tafel 14' and were really pleased. The place is really nicely decorated, really warm. The food was very good, nicely presented and not too pricy. The service was fast and friendly, but sometimes a bit chaotic.
I hope we find an occasion again soon to go to eat there.

This is a very central restaurant for a fast lunch, no reservation needed, happy young waiter, very democratic prices, modern interior, clean toilets,also take-away & with online booking, internet facilities and big projector with music clips. On the card all the calories are mentionned (for those who are interested).
Also menus or in combination with cinema ticket even! Very trendy restaurant.

Headdish €8.88 - €15
In a normal Chinese restaurant you pay double!

Petrouska is a very popular restaurant. If you want to go here in the weekend it is good advicce to make reservations.
Favorite Dish: The whitefish filled with salmon was just delicious.

At the Grote Markt, in the centre of Roeselare you will find several places to have a drink or a bite to eat. Filip took us to brasserie de Meester.
They serve great waffles.
