Hubby decided to try and cut the driving time by booking an overnight ferry from Zeebrugge to Hull. We were travelling with the ferry in an overnight cabin. Quite spacious and we had an outside window as well as a shower room and bog, although I couldn't imagine what good that would do if we were sinking. It cost £128 one way, P & O ferries. I LOVE travelling on trains and boats with your own personal cabin. It's SO romantic, being rocked to sleep by the motion of the train or boat. You can get up and pee when you want, you get personal wake up calls and if you are errrrrrrrr inclined *dirty grin* you are helped by the rocking of the ship or train. Very romantic and well worth the £128

The place is just next to the trainstation and you can also travel by coast tram.
Sometimes you can buy a combined ticket (B-dagtrips) : entrance and transport. Ask for information at the tourist desk or the office where you can buy train/tram tickets.

The 'Kusttram' (coastal tram) brings you from every other coast city to Zeebrugge. There's only one line along the entire coast.
