Zwevezele Travel Guide

Forget Rio, forget Munich, forget Oiljst! This is where the real carnaval takes place!!
Which is what I cóuld say, but I won't. This is just a nice parade which usually draws a good crowd, especially when it's not raining.
Our group joined in the festivities this year, re-enacting the possessing of the legendary "Church of Doom".

This picture of a very strange individual was taken last February in Zwevezele, one of Wingene's co-communes. It's actually one of my friends who transformed into a very realistic witch for one day!
Be careful not to get on the wrong side with her, as she might convert you into a toad, or even worse: Count Dracula!
