    L'Espace: Clubs

by belgianwaffle Written Aug 2, 2003

It costs 5 Euros to get in, but you're good for the whole night. THere are 2 floors for dancing as well as couches and places to chill. The music is a lot of hip hop and techno.

Dress Code: no sneakers. but you could get in with jeans and a cute shirt

This is a great nightclub mostly attended by the african community of Brussels where you can dance on all sorts of music (especially, R&B, souk, merengue, dance, pop, sometimes salsa). Entrance free for girls until 1am but people usually arrive around 2 or 3 o'clock (then, it's 10 €).

    Dress Code: Well-dressed. No sneakers.

Le Sud: 80's music and/or current music

Three small rooms that might seem a bit old and dirty but this is actually a very cool place. In the smaller room, they play current music, in the second one, you'll find the bar (full of peanuts) and you can also sit on big cushions on the floor (north-african style) and in the third one, you can dance on 80's music in a very dark atmosphere. Open until dawn on Friday and Saturday. Entrance : around 2,50/3 € (when you pay the first time, you get a card to enter for free for one year)

    Dress Code: No dress code

I did go out in Brussels, every night that I was there. I remember, I went to a new Disco in Town, with 3 or 4 floors, very high tech at the time. You only paid, when you leave, and what a tab I had!! However I do not remember the name of it.

Just a small bar in the center. They prefer go out on Thirsday's. On Thirsday's and Weekend's, bars close around 3, the other days close about midnight.
Nothing important. Big clubs are private. No good drinks, there are too light for us greeks. Do not try to go to other disco's, so depressing reminding the age of 80's.

Dress Code: You can wear anything you want, sport or fancy, mostly sporty.
