Okay, as I'm sure you will understand, I don't remember the names of some of the best places, as I may have been too drunk to think about things like that. But being of Irish stock i do like Celtica, nr Blvd Anspach. It's an irish bar that seems to never close, and has a rocking little dancefloor upstairs. Other bars i like: Pathe Palace (beneath Kaladaratatsch cinema), La Mort subite, Cubanita (with live latino bands, which sound rubbish but can be a laugh)...I know others but they aren't worth mentioning.
The first time I've been unable to get a ticket for a champions league game so we watched the game here (as did many other's!)

This bar is located near the Grand Place and is perfect to drink something before going into a disco.
There some other bars near... I also liked the "Mappa Mundo"
Zeer regelmatig kan in het etablissement naar jazzconcerten geluisterd worden of naar de betere lounge of Londonse muziek aan de hand van geïnviteerde dj's.
A nice cafe with a big screen with projector showing movie sequences and abstract art, good music, modern people, run by 2 young men.
an old world type cafe/bar attached to the hotel complete with leather couches where the waiters seem like "career" waiters i.e. they know when you want the next drink
It's all quiet relaxing
