Grand Place - Grote Markt, Brussels
La grande place is the most famous place in Brussels, it's a sqaure surrounded by pretty nice buildings that date from the 17th century. It's a part of the UNESCO's World Heritage since 1998.
Grand Place is the main square and the center piece of your visit to Brussels. People watch, visit a cafe, shop or stroll around admiring the architecture.
Sit outside, drink a beer, soak up the sunshine and people watch. There are numerous cafe's in and around the Grand Place.
Chimay Blue is a good choice but you can't go wrong with most of the brews.
Ofcourse, when visiting Brussels, the Grand Place cannot be forgotten. Definitely one of the most beautiful squares in the world, if not the most beautiful.
It never fails to impress me and many tourists along with me, this square of grand buildings...

Grand ' Place in Brussels is so stunning, you cannot help taking loads of pictures. There are also really great bars and restaurants in the vicinity, I would recommend going, its well worth it!

The "Grand Place" is unique in the world. I saw it in early morning with the flower market and at night with the lights... simply wonderful
Every two years, on the 15 of August weekend, the "Grand Place" is covered by a giant flowers carpet which can be viewed from the balcony the Town Hall forthree euros. A unforgettable scene!!

Grand Place is an amazing open square in the middle of Brussels. The guilded buildings are very cool. There are quite a few bars, chocolate shops and restaurants in the vicinity.
