This little guy is everywhere. But the real one is a fountain with a wardrobe for every occasion. He even has an Elvis costume.

Story has it that when a man found his missing son, the lad was relieving himself. So in his honor, the man built this fountain. Proof of the Belgian sense of humor. Not the original statue.

Other than the Grand Place, the main attraction is the famous Manneken Pis statue. This appears to be Brussels equivalent to Copenhagens Little Mermaid.

It’s a bit disappointing but you have to see it to believe how small and insignificant it really is!

Yes, it is silly but you have to go see it. It's a statue of a little boy doing his thing. Enough said.

A very strange statue that isn't really anything special. Yet many tourists seem to gather around waiting for there chance of a clear photo.

    Fountain dress-up

by annarborsef Updated Oct 9, 2003

If you get ther during daylight, the statue is dressed in one of a handful of outfits (the other outfits are on display). And, you can stop in at one of the local pubs for a beverage.

Curious little fountain of a small chap pissing. Was surrounded with Japanese tourists when I was there but I managed to get a decent snap.

One of the most popular Must See Activities is the Manneken Pis. it's just a tiny statue. It's located in a small street you can take from the Grand Market.

A weird sculpture of a pissing statue. We asked many Belgians what it signified and most of them said "nothing really'!:):)
