After you have visited the royal stables you will be invited into the park.
It is a lovely park and I will try to spread the pictures in the t-logues and into tips with fewer comments.
In the park are some statues.
This wild boar is special in a way that it is one of 2 pieces made. The other one is in the Zoo of Antwerpl
What hardly can do here but you sure can do at the zoo, is have a closer look.
At the boar's feet, you will find a whole bunch of little animals!

During a short period of time (approx 3 weeks) the royal family opens their garden and magnificient greenhouse to the public.
It is always half April/early May, announcements are made in the online publication of the:
Belgisch staatsblad/Moniteur belge.
16th April till 4th of May.

It is unbelievable beautiful!
In 2002 we had the luck that also the Royal stables were opened.

... when you walk through the garden of the royal palace, you might find several places where you can sit for a few minutes should your legs don't want to carry you no further or should you just want to enjoy the magnificient view.

Spring is lovely!
Visiting the garden medio April, will give you the advantage of enjoying the japanese cherie trees blooming.
