Favorite thing: ... when you walk through the garden of the royal palace, you might find several places where you can sit for a few minutes should your legs don't want to carry you no further or should you just want to enjoy the magnificient view.
Fondest memory: Spring is lovely!
Visiting the garden medio April, will give you the advantage of enjoying the japanese cherie trees blooming.

Favorite thing: After you have visited the royal stables you will be invited into the park.
It is a lovely park and I will try to spread the pictures in the t-logues and into tips with fewer comments.
In the park are some statues.
This wild boar is special in a way that it is one of 2 pieces made. The other one is in the Zoo of Antwerpl
What hardly can do here but you sure can do at the zoo, is have a closer look.
At the boar's feet, you will find a whole bunch of little animals!

Favorite thing: During a short period of time (approx 3 weeks) the royal family opens their garden and magnificient greenhouse to the public.
It is always half April/early May, announcements are made in the online publication of the:
Belgisch staatsblad/Moniteur belge.
16th April till 4th of May.
Fondest memory: It is unbelievable beautiful!
In 2002 we had the luck that also the Royal stables were opened.
