 | Belgium Restaurants | Tips 181 - 190 of 199 | | I don't remember the name of the restaurants. But I do remember the delicious dish. Try 'Ratatouille'. It's so delicious! Sylvie explained that its the hot vegetable dish from Southern France. And besides 'Ratatouille', I liked also the hard-shelled mussle soup even though I had to work hard to eat.=) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

There's always a Frituur around the corner and the Frites (chips) - served with mayonaise of course - are very tasty! Hmmm mustard? On chips? I don't think so ;-)
The sauces, you get a great variety of stuff to spice up your chips with! Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: You get them EVERYWHERE!

frites, fritten, friets, fries, chips. The french-fry was invented in Antwerp I believe, as that was where the first potatoes arrived in Europe from South America. Maybe should call them 'Flemish Fries' Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved french fries. Once I got to Belgium and saw all of the french fry stands, I thought I was in heaven! I can never get sick of eating them. Just ask my freind Hans. Although, I don't think I can ever get used to the idea of mayonaise on fries...it's just not natural.lol Just kidding! Hey...eat them how you like them! As long as you enjoy them! Leave a Comment Theme: Other
