The mostly bought souvenir - apart from chocolate and beer - in Belgium (and more in Brussels and Brugge) is Lace. Plenty of lace shops sell different kinds of lace and tapestries.
Godiva makes the best pralines. Don't miss the truffles either...not the cheapest shop, unfortunately, but so worth it.

There are many chocolate boutiques in Brugge, finely wrapped and good taste, they make you certainly want to buy some.
I preferred Burie over Godiva, definitely. Though Godiva is also an excellent quality, one of the best known in Belgium. € 10 for 250 gram
