When you in Brcko for the first time (or generally) it is hard to organized time.
I visited city several time and dint find any information about local bus connection within the city. And I always been in rush.
I ask a locals about a taxi fees and I get different answers: from 2 till 5 KM (around 1 till 2,5 euros). Don't find out in personally, but maybe it would interest those information for someone who is in a great hurry.

    Brcko train station
    4 more images

There is one daily train connection with Vinkovci in Croatia. A Croatian Railways "shinobus": diesel motorcar, from Vinkovci at 09:20 am to Drenovci 10:20 am. At Drenovci you switch to a bosnian train that takes you across the border river Sava, departure 10:50, with arrival Brcko 11:05. The train continues towards Tuzla at 11:20, where it arrives at 13:15.

Opposite direction: From Tuzla 07:22, to Brcko 09:15, from Brcko 09:41, to Drenovci 09:55, from Drenovci 10:40, to Vinkovci 11:43.

NB! The shinobus runs between Vinkovci and Gunja. But you have to get off at Drenovci, because that is where the croatian passport and customs control is. The bosnian checkpoint is on the train / in Brcko.

Brcko has effective bus connections with many locations in the eastern part of Republika Srpska, Tuzla, Sarajevo and Banja Luka. There are no passenger trains yet, although the service is expected to be restored.
