Radobolja River, Mostar
While the green-blue Neretva river steals all the plaudits in Mostar, there is another aquatic beauty in Mostar which runs form west to east into the Neretva. The narrow Radobolja river divides onto two before entering the Neretva and contributes significantly to the charm and character of the western bank.
Following stone steps down from Onescukova Street you will come to the crooked bridge, which crosses this small river. along each bank of the river you have old stone buildings and houses, some obviously replicated, but others are surviving centuries old buildings. This area was one of our favourite spots in Mostar, especially at night when it was at it's most pituresque.
Radoblja River is right tributary of Neretva. It has specific delta, made for lot of old mills on it. During my visit to Mostar, after two rainy days, it looks like a river. without rain, Radoblja is small creek flows into Neretva close to the Old Bridge.
