Visoko What to Pack

Luggage and bags: Try to keep your baggage low in Bosnia. Don't bring too much. It will be much easier for you to travel around if you have less. Just take what you need and leave room for great souvenirs!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Know when you are coming. In the summer, it will be very very very very hot!! You may walk outside and instantly feel wet from the blazing sun. Bring clothes that will be good for this type of weather. In the winter, it is exactly the opposite. Bring stuff so you can be comfortable in freezing cold and heavy snow! Bring shoes that are good to walk in...it is the best way to get around, but there are taxis if you need.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can find most everything you need in Bosnia. Again, it is just easier if you have it all. If you need medical supplies, you can of course find it all here (we have an apoteka), but I would recommend that you can get what you can in Sarajevo or another large city like Zenica, Tuzla, or Mostar.

Photo Equipment: You can find film here of course, but again, bring your own. It is just easier. A lot of things like one time cameras you will not see most places.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring your own on rent in Sarajevo. There is a swimming pool here that is nice on hot days, so maybe bring a bathing suit!
