Best of the best - restaurant in the old castle. Great cuisine, moderate prices, beautiful view on the river.

I feel uneasy recommending this place because on the occasions that we ate there (20:00-ish) we were the only customers! Nevertheless it seemed a fine restaurant. The quality of the food and the service were absolutely first class when we were there.
It must surely do a thriving trade at other times to warrant the number of staff who were in attendance.
The menu is mainly local traditional, which is to say meat-orientated (especially lamb) but also includes river fish etc, all served with salads rather than cooked vegetables. Good wine and beer, as throughout Bosnia, costs much less than EU equivalents. Decorated in mexican style, this place offers a variety of mexican, italian and local food... I have to admit, I never saw such huge portions and such good food for such an acceptable price. Definately a choice to go with!
