  • The best fast food

This is the best fast food in Bijeljina. It's located right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. It was opened in the march 2003. The owner, which is friend of mine, is very pedantic and you won't miss good food. Try some of the sandwiches prepared with Herzegovinian smoked ham or some of Italian dishes.

Bijeljina is center of agriculture are Semberia (north-east Republic of Srpska). Green market is in very center of the city. It is fool of natural produced vegetables and fruits. Also, you can buy natural produced eggs, flowers, milk, cheeses and cheese creams, "rakija" (national home-made alcohol drink), fresh fishes... and imported vegetables and fruits. Cabbage is very well known in East-South Europe. Prices are fix but if you buy more you can get some discount. The best choice is on "market days", Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
During the summer time, huge ashes make nice shadow.
It is surround by shops all four sides and it is open from 6 AM to late afternoon, even in the winter time.

It's, almost, tradition when it's some holiday to put a pig on a spit and roast it, doesn’t' matter is it summer or wintertime. It will take several hours but it tastes very good.

Most of the traffic signes in Bijeljina and Republic of Srpska are writen in cyrillic letter.
Don't ask policemen. They don't speak Englih. Almost, no one. Also, there is no city map in English.

Look at the sign. Banja Luka and Brcko are straight and Beograd (Belgrade) is right. Also, Sajam (Fair) is left.

Unique Suggestions: You can ask any young people to help you, and, almost, everyone of them speak English.

    Fun Alternatives: Learn Serbian :)
