To and from Modrica by train

by Odiseya Updated Jun 28, 2014

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The train station in Modrica is on periphery of town, near bus station.
It has a classic, recognizable look for a train station in country. Now is comfort and clean, it has a waiting room and toilet.

Note: currently there is only one active railway line: Doboj - (Bosanski) Šamac and (Bosanski) Šamac - Doboj.

    No necessary for reservation.

    Modrica on foot

by Odiseya Updated Dec 30, 2013

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Modrica is small town in gentle valley, clean with nice configuration and architecture. Like many others town (even bigger then Modriča) walking is the best way to explore Modrica. From train or bus station (one next to others) take forward to the residential part of town. Then, on first turn to the left, go forward to the very hart of town. There is a cultural part of town with long pedestrian zone with deep shade of tree and lot of cafe bars where you can rest.

Modrica don't have a official bike trail but it have a long pedestrian zone. Since it is very small but quite town bike or walking is best way to discover its charm. But, I suggest to have a proper helmet.
