Favorite Dish: I love small home made muffin that you can eat instead a bread. I eat biff soup and with a yellow muffin is a nice and tasty dinner.

I am very subjective when I write this but really all area have a good potential for tourism. Even it is off-the-beaten-path and for a great adventurists. For all visitors of town it is good to have a very detailed public information about town and whole municipality. All over the town there was a bilingual city plates of streets sign and object of local or national importance. There is also and local touristic office. I find it a very useful and even I live in town nearby it help me to discover town.

Since touristic office work only during week days, you can use public information board. Or talk to locals, many people especially young one at least understand basic English.

I especial recommend to see a big information board at the beginning of upper level of towns square. There is detailed map with legend for all municipality (see first photo).

Mačino Brdo (Serbian Cyrillic: Мачино Брдо, read: Machino Brdo) is place located about 2 km north from Prnjavor (about 131 north-west from Sarajevo). It could be considerated as suburban of Prnjavor. It is peaceful and colorful village caracteristic for its picket-fences look. First notice of place is in late 19th century, precisely 1895 and it was covered 340 ha. It was founded mostly from Czech setlers, origin from Moravska region in today Czech Republic. It was happens in time of official Austrian-Hungary anexy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In first time it was 25 Czech familly. Today in Mačino Brdo, besides Czech, lives side by side and Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Poles, Ukrainas and Italian. Their all come here later during last century. This place is known from its peaceful coexistence and rich cultural life. I visit Mačino Brdo in winter. I spend some time in cultural centre with president of local assotiation of Češka Besjeda, cultural assotiation and visit local chuch and learn more about its activity and life in local community.

Drenova jezero or lake is very popular natural resort on area of Prnjavor municipality but in Republika Srpska too. I visit this lake on the way to Prnjavor as photography spot only.

Drenova lake is most attractive for fishing. The lake is well known by capital catch of catfish and carps. I found information that couple years ago, for one night only, two catfish were catched and they weight about 91 and 62 kg, and 238 cm long. You can also find here grass carp , pike, sauger, barbel, etc.The lake is stocked planning, preserves and governs, and for their catches one of the most attractive places for fishing in the wider region.

Because of the great terms for angler, clean water and beautiful nature, and thanks to great doings of Prnjavor fishermans, Sports and fishing union of Republika Srpska is pronaunced this lake for angler paradise.

This lake is regular introducing, keeps and assorts, and it`s one of the most attractive places for ranching.

On the lake, which is under constant monitoring Fish Guard Service Sport-fishing association Prnjavor, apply special rules of conduct and fishing, since the lake Drenova water supply and water intake. You should visit lake guard and sort of all administration formality. There is one small house on lake.
The openning season for ranching on Drenova lake is happening every year, first Sunday in June.

Sadly, there is nothing to do there besides relaxing in peace, fishing and take a photos. If it what you would like to do then this is a perfect place to be.

Note: it was prohibit to camping, parking car in area up to 20 meters from lake shore and fishing from Sunday from midnight till Tuesday in 4 pm.

Equipment: Fishing equipment and fishing or lake permit. There no shops in vicinity, so bring your food.
