    10000 people died and 50000 were left homeless during the mid 90s and the war, and there are little pockets of history all over the city. there remain a few bombed out buildings and you can see NATO busses and peacekeeping signs in some places. this is such an amazing city with so much to see as it emerges from the dark into the future
