    Built for the XIV Winter Olympic Games, Holiday Inn Sarajevo is situated in the city center, along sniper alley .Who could forget the bright yellow Holiday Inn Inn that was home to reporters from around the world during the war of the 1990's. The hotel was one of the only functioning hotels during the seige of Sarajevo.Its bullet holed exterier stand as evidence of its viloent past.

    Important transport thing of the city is Tram.you can go by tram Novo grad,ilidjza and Novo saraejvo

    Right in the middle of the city is where during the war , shots rained down on the townspeople from the hills above. Huge craters and bullet holes are still evident in the buildings on both sides of the thoroughfare. Its strange even though this was broadcast around the world during the war , it is only now seeing it 12 years later the horror is so much more real.

    These are indentations in concrete caused by mortar attacks. They are sometimes died red when more than 3 were killed at the spot , thus are known as Sarajevo Roses. Sadly there are many.

    This is Greek or Neo Classical style building from Austro-Hungaro period.
    Next to the Catholic City Cathedral .

    It s a small copy of Istanbul covered bazaar.It has very similar atmosphere of EDIRNE ALI PASA BAZAAR quite .

    This the most significant Islamic building in the region dating back to 1530 it was It was built by architect Ajem Esir under the patronage of Gazi Husref-bey. It is an incredibly beautiful building. Opposite the mosque is Gazi-Husrevbey madrasa is place of Muslim learning.

    It is also built in the end of 19th century in neoghotic style.
    I didn't manage to go in but I saw the excursion of the children at the entrance.*

    Famous as a place where th austrian Prince Franz Ferdinand was assasinated in 1914.
    After the bosnian war the name of the bridge is changed, but still, most of the people kmow it by this name.
