It is very usual to see donkey Cars on the main Roads in Bulgaria everywhere. So they are not very fast when you drive with a car on open roads and it is very unexpected after every corner! Maybee a little bit dangerous to have an accident with such a donkey car!

I havnt seen any public transportation like bus or Train to Petric. Think the nearest Train Station is at the Bulgarian-Greek Border. Then you have to take a taxi! The Price we handle before we ride was 4 EURO one way for 25km to the city center. You find a lot of taxis after crossing the Bulgarian Border on a big place! Also you can handle here a price to Sofia!

1 EUR is a fix rated to 1,95/1,96 Lewa, at the changing bueros at Petric you get this rate without any commission in the city center. Better you change some Money, because the most shops, restaurants want Lewas. You can also pay with euros, but then you get 1:2 in the most times.
