Central Square Trojkata, Burgas
One of the most touristic spots in Burgas, the fountain at Troykata Square. Behind it you can see another remnant of Socialism, the typical monument in almost every town.
The last picture shows how the square looked before the fountain was built.
We have a joke that whenever now gardens, parks, fountains and playgrounds appear, that means that Mayor elections are coming... Obviously the current Mayor of Burgas wants to impress the citizens with what he has done for the community, so in the last months of his mandate he builds something or repairs a street or some building (well, with tax payers' money, of course). So I was thinking, they should make elections more often, this way Burgas will become the most beautiful town :)
