It's a nice place to take a strall, one of my favourite places in Burgas. . From there you get a view of the port, park and city. There is a small platform to jump from, although there are some guys jumping from the second level. There are also people fishing. I like to swim to the end of the pier but it's not allowed so I have to avoid the lifeguards. Still, better not try.
This pier was built in the mid-80, I very vaguely remember the old much smaller one and building of the new one. Everybody was excited when it was ready, such a nice place for a walk, with the lights and the second level, the great view of the sea, kind of romantic. And if you turn back you can see the beach, the port and the huge green stretch of the Sea Park.
We call the pier 'Mostat" (meaning 'the bridge).
