We, bulgarians, not very often greet in the supermarkets or other places. Dont' be surprised if you greet the cashier or the shopassistant and she/he doesn't respond. And we often forget to look into the eyes each other.
Here is a picture of a Bulgarian Flat. Rooms are decorated in traditional Bulgarian style. Parking is limited around these buildings. People park on the sidewalk or in small garages located around the building. Some flats have small shops on bottom or they will have small garages.
This home located near the old part of Kazanluk is an example of a two family bulgarian home. Constructed mostly of brick with a brick tile roof. Modern windows are in place of the old wooden frames still used in some homes. Many of these home were constructed many years ago. There are many old homes & building in this town in need of restoration.
