What to buy:
There are many different products related to the rose oil industry in Kazanluk like soaps for men, soaps for women, schampoo, liquor, small pillows filled with rose leafs, I believe I saw candles, and much more.
They also sell postcards and other souvenirs, of course.
Back home I gave the soap to my wife, and she really loved it, not only the nice smell but most of all the gentle foam. As a bonus it is very lasting.
What to buy:
You can find almost everything that is possible to find at an open market, like vegetables, clothes, shoes, soap and schampoo, brushes, jar covers, tools, ceramics.....
What to pay: The prices are very low since this is a market for the local people but perhaps you can try to bargain, I didn't. I bought three soaps (two of which with smell of orange) for 1 Euro.
This a bulgarian market Kazanlak. There are many family businesses as there are companies. Prices in Kazanluk are very good in general. It's cheaper than in other towns.

"Univermag" in Bulgarian means "universal shop", or shop, where you can find everything. It has 2 floors with a lot of small clothes and shoes shops. You can buy also souvenirs there. In Bulgaria the prices are comparatively low- sport shoes for 15 euro, trousers for 10-15 euro, music CDs for 6 euro. There is also a supermarket.
