As I said, Bozhentsi is famous with the old houses. Some of them are restaurants, others-hotels. They are really very interesting and if you are interested in architecture or just want to look at something different-enjoy!
You can just choose one and try the Bulgarian kitchen. There are big boards outside the restaurants saying what their unique dishes are. Most of them are in Bulgarian language, but don't pay attention-just eat! :)))
Favorite Dish: Some Bulgarian dishes I like are "tarator" and "shopska" salad. I'm sure they are in each menu :)
Yes, this is one of those villages where you can find some products for your household or just as a souvenir. Small wooden things, local carpets etc.
What to buy: Small cups, carpets, wooden utensils, salterns, sugar-bowls etc.
What to pay: It's not expensive, just enjoy doing it :)
