party on 24 hours in Bulgaria by ger4444 What then, has Bulgaria for the party-people to offer? Enough. You can if you want spend your whole time in Bulgaria partying everyday from dusk till dawn. There are these places like Zlatni Pyasatsi (by tourists called Golden Sands), that have on every corner a club or disco where can find all you need; these places are the Walhalla for the real clubber; open till 5 or 6 am, the nightlife or early morning life continues after the clothing time of these establishments at the open bars on the streets where you, around this time, can see the drunken tourists lying and sleeping on the streets or vomiting around; that’s cool… But of course you can then also go to Ibiza or Mailorca; same scenery. A better place for clubbing is then Varna; a lot of locals go there in the summer and the partylife in Varna is totally different from that in Zlatni; but its of course a question of taste. Then, party-town number one is for me Veliko Tarnovo. With a lot of bars and student pubs around town, I had a great time over there. You can go your way trough the night there and taste the Kamenitse beer or vodka’s; and still, you cant get enough! Other places of good nightlife are Sofia (where you also can go on partying all night long, as they say, but in which town it can pack out that – in my case – you are having all the things within hand reach for a good party at the art-hostel where I was staying and where the hostel garden offered good opportunities to hang around, without feeling the urgue to leave it) And of course Plovdiv, the patytown that will force it self up on you when you are there and you see the lights dimming. Also there are some parties celebrated by locals such as April Uprising day in koprivshtitsa; but then, I recommend, you should know some of the background about what people are actually celebrating there! Wouldn’t it be a stupid situation when you are having vodka with Bulgarians celebrating the historical uprising against the turks, whereas you think they are celebrating the end of the Ramadan? If you get the chance try the Bulgarian wine tasting night - we sampled 4 reds and 4 whites during the course of a meal and were given the history and culture of each - only wish I could remeber all their names but but the end of the evening it was a bit of a blur... Theme: Other

Nightlife by Linse The nightlife in Sunny beach has everything u want from a wild techno-disco, a normal disco, a bar or a small pub. Which place is best depends on what u are up for so just get out there and try it. Leave a Comment

Casino in background by ettenaj I think there are a couple of Casino's in Golden Sands, but only the biggest one was open whilst we were there. We didnt go in but I must admit it did look rather plush.

In the hotel where we stayed, a bottle of Vodka cost the equivalent of 50 Irish pence (less than a Euro!), and beer was the equivalent of 12p. For a group of 16 year olds this was heaven indeed! Bring 50 Euros and you'll be drunk for a month. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

The Bulgarians like to party and drink, so there are many places to go and have fun. There are bars with top 50 music, with local music (if so, make sure you participate in the traditional bulgarian dances, it ain't too hard and the people will love your effort.) With rock music, with live music (bulgaria has soem good live bands, check out D2, or Poduena blues band) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by blue-viggen There are many cool clubs in and around Plovdiv though be warned for some reason there is a big gay and Lesbian scene in Bulgaria so to avoid any embarrasement check before you go inside.... There are some Cafe's open that play banging house music until the small hours such as DREAMS and other places that can be easily heared. The best nightclub for outrageous people is Calligula's Good music and crazy nights out
no jeans except in the coffee shops where you can dress as you like. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: Plovdiv town centre,, plovdiv has only one main street so you cannot miss the action
