Bulgarians are very open-hearted people. You can feel the different atmosphere and spirit of the Balkans once you've come here. You may find that it is very easy to make friends here and also don’t be surprised that sometimes you will find people reacting a little too emotional - this is somehow part of our nationality. And if you allow me I can give you this advice try to explore our roots and traditions, customs and folklore. Bulgarian folk songs and dances are really something we are very proud of - it is a lovely combinations of melodious tunes and beautiful voices, fiery and lively dances and brightly colored costumes. Try to listen to the songs of the 'The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices' or enjoy the performance of one of famous folklore ensembles and I am sure that this will be an unforgettable experience you will always remember.
