Bachkovo is a popular tourist destination with so many people visiting the monastery every year. From the main road there is a path that leads to the monastery so it was no surprise that there were so many stalls on both side of the path with local people selling a variety of things...

So what you will see in front of you is:
local honey (4leva for a small jar), cheese and yoghurt, some unknown herbs, homemade jams and sweets with wild fruits. They also sell a lot of handcrafts, souvenirs, the typical magnets (3leva) but also woolen blankets (typical in Rhodope area), woven baskets, jewelries, religious icons etc

well i just showed him my camera and he just said yes with his head (by the way, yes and no in Bulgaria is the opposite way from any other western country, yeah weird thing) and arranged his hair and its done i made the pic.
