    Trees

    by v_bisheva Updated Jul 20, 2004

There are so many trees everywhere around. Because Dospat is on 1300m into the Rodopi mountain, most of the trees are ever green.

    Breakfast

    by v_bisheva Updated Jul 20, 2004

The cafe bar is not luxurious, but the ambience is good for a coffee or a strong breakfast, because the mountain climate makes you really hungry...

    Hand-made Fountain

    by v_bisheva Written May 26, 2004

This is a hand made fountain and the water that comes out of it is absolutely clean and cold and refreshing. It comes right of the mountain and all can enjoy its purity...people and animals around. These kind of fountains are very common in all bulgrian mountains. You can find many similar almost everywhere out of the towns in the nature...

    Green

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Right before you enter the town you already see the big dam lake surrounded with mountain hills, glades and trees, many many trees. Everything is so green and 10 minutes looking at it is enough for your eyes to drown into the peace and the rest...

    Fishing rod

    by v_bisheva Updated May 26, 2004

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Many of bulgarians love fishing...So do i :)))
It doesn't matter if i can catch lots of fishes or none, this kind of activity is so relaxing. With some friends around it can be real fun or an intensive competition, but in both cases at the end of the fishing day i dream of a warm bed and a good sleep.
In the Dospat lake the trout is very often fish to catch, there are a few types of it but they all are the same delicious food.

Equipment: The fishing rod is the thing you need and the fishing can begin...of course the bait for the trout too. If you don't have one, you can find all you need in the town. People are very friendly and ready to help with advices or anything.

    The dam wall

    by v_bisheva Written May 27, 2004

Favorite thing: Its nice to see it...or walk along it...looking into the water you can feel the depth...looking on the other side where you see the height of the dam wall you realize above what you are staying. Its not the tallest dam wall, actually its usual one, but the feeling is nice...
