Plovdid has a large rowing canal, which is a good facility for rowing sports and other watersports. It is used for championships and competitions. Its also a popular place for jogging and skating. Along the lake there are café s to relax. The canal is build according the international standards and is 2 kilometres long, 120 meters wide and 3 metres deep.
The 14 and 15 June will be the worrld team fishing championship in Plovdiv .. this what you see on the photo is the traning time 3 days before the start on saturday .. there will be 28 countries presented .. Im not how much fish they will cach because the forecast for the next days is for 33 C and up .. :)

It is a place where many peole go and relax, for joging, bycicling, or just for a wallk, there is also an nice caffe restaurant at the coast just the tables are of one step to the water .. .. it is one of my favorite places where i go ..in 2000 y. there was the world championship by water-jet /scuter/ it was great event!
